Rebates A. New Home Construction - Electric heat pump 13 SEER = $300 per ton, 14 SEER = $350 per ton, 15 SEER and above = $400 per ton, 2 ton minimum Ground source heat pump = $400 per ton
- Electric water heater, will pay equipment invoice up to $500, 50 gallon minimum
- Duel fuel heating and cooling 13 SEER = $200 per ton, 14 SEER = $250 per ton, 15 SEER and above = $350 per ton, minimum 2 ton
B. Replacement - Air-to-air heat pump, 13 SEER = $100 per ton, 14 SEER = $150 per ton, 15 SEER and above = $200 per ton, 2 ton minimum
- Partial Heat pump replacement $80 per ton
- Electric water heater, will pay equipment invoice up to $150 if replacing electric with electric. Will pay equipment invoice up to $500 if replacing a gas with an electric, 50gallon minimum
- Dual fuel heating and cooling 13 SEER = $75 per ton, 14 SEER = $100 per ton, 15 SEER and above = $150 per ton
- Partial heat pump replacement $80 per ton. (One time only rebate)
400 Amp Service Rebate A. Rebate amount of $2,950 is allowed if the home has a heat pump and electric water heater and because of this, a 400-amp service is required. Note: - The heat pump must be either an air-to-air or ground source and have electric resistive heat backup.
- The electric water heater must be a 50-gallon minimum. (Allowed is a gas fireplace, gas range, outside gas barbeque grill)
B. Rebate amount of $1,500 is allowed if the home has a dual fuel or hybrid system and because of this, a 400-amp service is required. "Dual fuel or Hybrid System" is defined as: - Having a heat pump installed and the backup heat is a gas furnace with a dual fuel thermostat that has a change over temperature set at 35 degrees.
- Having an electric water heater installed. (Allowed is a gas fireplace, gas range, outside gas barbeque grill) Note: The standard "New Construction Rebates" will apply in addition to the 400-amp rebate except for subdivisions that have an Infrastructure Credit Agreement in effect.
